The VMC ET6 is a performance-oriented 144cc racing cylinder for classic Vespa Smallframe models. Its increased bore provides a substantial 144cc displacement, offering considerably more capacity than conventional Smallframe cylinders.
The cylinder is made from aluminium and features a high-quality Nikasil coating. With 6 ports and sporty timing, the VMC ET6 is designed for high engine performance without using timing that is as aggressive as the ET7.
144cc with 60mm bore and 51mm stroke
The VMC ET6 uses a 60.0mm bore and a 51.0mm stroke, resulting in a displacement of 144cc.
The 6-port design and large transfer area are key elements of the ET6's performance-oriented design.
The specified timing is:
- Transfers: 126°
- Exhaust: 186°
The ET6 therefore features sporty timing which, according to the manufacturer, is less aggressive than the timing of the ET7.
Aluminium cylinder with Nikasil coating
The cylinder is made from aluminium and features a high-quality Nikasil coating. The elaborately manufactured cylinder head has eight mounting points, improving the sealing between cylinder and cylinder head.
Suitable for Vespa PV 125, ET3 and PK 125
The VMC ET6 144cc cylinder is suitable for:

Important: Engine case modification required
The VMC ET6 is not a plug-and-play cylinder. Due to its large cylinder base and the required transfer area, the engine case must be machined before installation.
The semi-circular protrusion in the flywheel tunnel must first be removed. The engine case must also be opened up to match the larger diameter of the cylinder base.
A screw-on milling template is included with the VMC ET6. This template makes the required machining possible even when using a hand router.
This required engine case modification should therefore be taken into account before purchasing or installing the ET6.
